Michael Nardo is the Regional Credit Executive for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic U.S., as well as the Corporate Credit Executive for Asset Backed Finance and Asset & Liability Management, for PNC Capital Markets. His primary responsibilities are as the senior independent risk management executive for several PNC businesses and geographic markets. Nardo joined PNC in 1996 through the acquisition of Midlantic Bank and has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to his current role, he has held senior positions in the Corporate & Institutional Bank in New Jersey, leading groups in Corporate Finance and Corporate Banking. He was named Managing Director in 1999, Senior Vice President in 2003 and Northeast U.S. Market Executive in 2007. He moved into his current position in January 2014. Nardo’s experience includes significant expertise in managing risk and return, and prudent capital management. He has worked extensively with Fortune 1000 and Middle Market companies to raise capital, mitigate market risks and optimize working capital management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. in Finance from NYU-Stern. He also holds Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses from FINRA. He serves on the Board of New Jersey SHARES and the Board of the New Jersey Banker’s Association.
